Originally lightest wheelchair ramp

Originally lightest wheelchair ramp, the postgraduate team of the Key Laboratory of Intelligent Perception and Image Understanding of the Ministry of Education of Xidian Institute of Artificial Intelligence lightest wheelchair ramp, under the guidance of Professor Jiao Licheng and Dr. Sun Qigong, developed a smart wheelchair and made this based on the eyeball lightest wheelchair ramp. The controlled smart wheelchair was donated to the first “post-90s” frozen man Zhang Wei who was on Mount Huashan. On television, people have seen British physicist Hawking in a wheelchair. At the age of 21 lightest wheelchair ramp, he was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (commonly known as gradual freezing), and his action was greatly restricted. He could not speak lightest wheelchair ramp, and only three fingers in his hand could move. Therefore, his wheelchair is not only the most important tool for his daily travel lightest wheelchair ramp, but also an important “artifact” for his dialogue with the outside world. It is said that this high-tech wheelchair is worth more than 6 million yuan. For ordinary frozen people, such a high-intelligent wheelchair can only discourage them. In today’s smart life is increasingly integrated into people’s daily life, let ordinary frozen people travel, take care of themselves, enjoy the fun of smart home, these have become the starting point of intelligent wheelchair design. Based on this idea, Professor Jiao Licheng and Dr. Sun Qigong agreed that the idea of intelligent wheelchairs not only fits the research direction of the Artificial Intelligence Institute, but also enables students to truly apply the knowledge they have learned to product practice. In the summer of 2017, under the guidance of Professor Jiao Licheng and Dr. Sun Qigong, Xidian formed a team of graduate wheelchair research and development. After two months of unremitting efforts, they finally developed a smart wheelchair based on eye-positioning technology. At the same time, the team took the results to participate in the Chinese Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Competition, and won the second place. The on-site judges also affirmed the attitude of the wheelchair. In order to ensure that the results are truly applied to real life, the team has been continuously researching and improving. In 2018, the accuracy and driving safety of the second-generation intelligent wheelchairs have been greatly improved, the functions are continuously enriched, and the user experience is continuously improved. The product really went out of the lab, entered the real life, and met the travel needs in the life scene. In order to further enrich the user’s feelings, the team combined with smart home technology based on the second generation of wheelchairs, and launched a third-generation intelligent wheelchair system based on eye control. The intelligent system can obtain the information such as the eyeball focus position and the effective gaze time by recognizing and tracking the eyeball, and can calculate the current intention of the user through calculation. The user can control the wheelchair to move along the selected path and freely control the smart home devices such as door locks, lights, curtains, televisions, and air conditioners. At the same time, the intelligent system also added music, so that the frozen people can choose their own songs with their eyes. The intelligent system fully demonstrates the team’s research and development tenet: bringing more convenience to the life of rare patients such as frozen people, allowing everyone to feel the convenience brought by intelligence and realize smart life.
